Courier Pickup
- Manager must be present when courier is removing money from safe
- Loomis is only allowed to be in the building 10 MINUTES- Any time over this we are charged
- When Loomis enters, the manager needs to quickly meet them in the office, so they complete their job and exit the building.
- Courier will enter their pin on keypad and then select enter.
- A receipt will print with barcodes for the courier
- Courier will scan barcode
- Courier will enter a special code given from the scan
- Courier will select pickup cash on screen
- Courier will select open door to open vault
- Once all cassettes are emptied, courier will close vault door
- Receipt will print
- Courier will take money to bank for deposit
Change Order- Placing new order
- Stores will place and receive change 1 time per week
- Log into DTS Connex
- Hover over Create and click “Create Change Order”
- From the drop down, select your location
- Click “New Order”
- Enter the increments needed for the change order
- Click save
- The next available date will display automatically. Click the gray button to change the delivery date. DTS will not allow you to place more than 1 change order per service day.
- Select save order
- Loomis driver will deliver change order on your scheduled delivery date
Change Order- Editing an existing order
- Log into DTS Connex
- Any existing orders will be listed on the screen
- Select “Edit Order”
- Make changes. Select save.
- Loomis driver will deliver change order on your scheduled delivery date
Change Order- Cancelling an existing order
- Log into DTS Connex
- Any existing orders will be listed on the screen
- Select “Cancel Order”
- Select save
Change Order- Adding money into smart safe
- Select Other on smart safe screen
- Enter pin
- Select cash control
- Select change order deposits
- Insert bills into bill acceptor
- Select done
- Confirm the amount on screen by selecting yes
- Select done
Add a manager to system
- Must have correct permissions to set up additional managers
- Select “other” icon from main screen
- Enter your pin number
- Select manager accounts. Select add.
- Enter new Manager pin (4 digits). Select enter.
- Reenter pin. Select enter.
- Enter Manager name using keypad. Select Enter.
- Select which functions will be allowed to perform. Select done.
- Select done again to save managers information. Message confirming information was saved will be displayed.
Skimming cash register
- Select insert bills icon on main screen
- Enter your pin number
- Bill accepters will have a sold green light showing it is ready to accept bills
- Notes are counted as they are accepted and stored in the cassettes
- You can place bills into either accepter if the green indicator is on
- Note: You can place up to 25 notes in an acceptor at one time
- You can see what is being accepted on the screen of the smart safe
- Once all money is accepted, click done
- A receipt recording the deposit will print
- Place receipt in cash till you skimmed
Counting cash register
- Always have cashier present when counting down their cash drawer
- Count the drawer down to the drawer bank ($100, $150 etc.)
- All cash bills that will be deposited:
- Select other icon on main screen
- Enter your pin number
- Select Deposit on screen
- Enter your pin number
- Bill accepters will have a sold green light showing it is ready to accept bills
- Notes are counted as they are accepted and stored in the cassettes
- Note: You can place up to 25 notes in an acceptor at one time
- You can see what is being accepted on the screen of the smart safe
- Once all money is accepted, click done
- A receipt recording the deposit will print
- If you skimmed the cash register during the shift you will need to add that amount to this receipt amount to get that total cash deposited from this register
Ending a shift (Creates accounting period on the reports which details any transactions during the shift time frame)
- Complete insert close in SICOM
- Complete shift close in SICOM
End of Day Closeout-
- Closes out the whole day- Runs automatically at 1:00 A.M.
- If it does not run, please follow the below steps to close the day out:
- Select “other” from main screen
- Enter pin number
- Select “End of day/Shift”
- End Day. Select yes.
- End of shift will print 1st. Select done when complete.
- End of day will print next. Select done when complete.
